450D/50 Photo 11 “Water Dragon”

I work in Brisbane, and can have late or early finishes, so often before or after work, I will go for a wander around the Roma Street Parklands, lots of ponds, flowers, different plants and of course wildlife, the most prevalent is these lovely Water Dragon, and I have captured enough images of them  over the years to probably filll a book.

This little guy, was on top of a Hedge, catching bugs, and posed nicely for the camera, which was great as I was again using the 450D/50mm prime, so could only zoom with my feet, and he was quite tolerant of me moving closer to him to compose this photo.

Canon 450D/50mm, Shot in Raw, Processed in CS5, F1.8 (probably should have been F4), 1/1600, shot in AV mode.

Though I would include 2 photos in this post and include another Water Dragon Image.

Canon 450D/50mm, Shot in Raw, Processed in CS5, F3.2, 1/125, shot in AV mode.

I have discovered I have a love for life and doing anything creative, and I am constantly striving to build, make, create and photograph things , I live my you can learn to do anything, but the hardest part is you d o not have time to do everything - follow my journey as I try and do as much as I can with the time I have. I live in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Queensland Australia, on top of a mall mountains, surrounded by thousands of acres of bush land. This is sight is a basically a diary of my day to day adventures, it will have everything from Portrait photo sessions, craft projects, yard word, Trail Cam footage.
