Kookaburras

The afternoon, before I got the Kingfisher photo, I was over at my Mum’s at Bribie Island, and there was a few Kookaburras hanging around, the people across the road feed them.

They are from the same family of Birds as the Kingfishers.

Taken with Canon 7D and 70-200 lens, shot at around F4.

I have discovered I have a love for life and doing anything creative, and I am constantly striving to build, make, create and photograph things , I live my you can learn to do anything, but the hardest part is you d o not have time to do everything - follow my journey as I try and do as much as I can with the time I have. I live in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Queensland Australia, on top of a mall mountains, surrounded by thousands of acres of bush land. This is sight is a basically a diary of my day to day adventures, it will have everything from Portrait photo sessions, craft projects, yard word, Trail Cam footage.

  1. Posted this here too coz lost it when I tried to comment on your Kingfisher photo. “Now he knows how photogenic he is he’ll be back to let you get that close-up. I’ve just been through all your pics. What a beautiful showcase of Australia, you have captured us perfectly and inspired me to get back outside. What is it about kookaburras? They are such cheery little birds and to hear a kookaburra laughing always brings a smile to our faces. Fantastic work. I’m looking forward to seeing more.”
