I spent the last few days out at Mount Barney staying at the lakeside cottage at Barney Creek Vineyard Cottages
It was a few days in paradise – lots of things to see and do – with Macro being my favourite Photography currently – thought I would start with some of the bugs I got there.

Early last Sunday morning, I went for a walk in the garden and surrounding yard and was not finding much at all to photograph – so walking back to come inside along the verandah, on the post at the top of the stairs I see a little spider and while I am photographing him – a fly lands as well.
First up two photos of Jumping Spiders with a little flying any as prey.

My second lot of photos posted from Greazefest – is a few 1950’s Chevs
I love the style of these cars.

I went to GreazeFest on the weekend for the first time – had a great time there, saw a lot of cool cars – finally getting a chance to start looking through the photos tonight.
Decided for something different would go through one style of car at a time – so starting with the VW’s – obviously “Rat Rod” is the popular theme.

Will try and post at least one set a day – and will be adding these and other photos to my facebook photography page as well.
Cheers Dave
Ok – my personal life has been interfering with my photography and have not been out much.
So I thought it was time to re visit some recent photos, that I only quickly went through at time.
So thought I would go back to my walk at Kangaroo point Brisbane a few weeks back and edit some more of the Zombie photos, have since discovered they were done through the excellent skills of Brian and Sammi and hope to get the opportunity to photograph more of their brilliant work in the future.

A few more images of the Napoleonic re-enactors from History Alive last Sunday.
A lazy post of just photos – I know 🙂

Last weekend, I managed to get to my favourite event. History Alive 2013
I am always thankful when I go there to the organisers and re-enactors who put so much effort into organising the event and make it a great adventure, this year I only got to go on the Sunday, next year will try and go both days.
My favourite period is Napoleonic and will start with a few photos of them.
Possibly my favourite photo from the day is Michelle Spano as a French Cavalry.

I am always happy to get good photos of the firing Muskets
