Hover Fly – Family Syrphidae

Another series of Photos from my walk through Roma Street Parklands in Brisbane during the week. This time a Hover Fly. Love these little guys, and they are well behaved in “hovering”, giving you a chance to find focus while they are in flight.     Cheers Dave

Blue Rutilia Fly – Rutilia (Neorutilia) simplex

I had the opportunity earlier in the week to get to the Parklands before work. I saw this Blue Fly, who stayed still long enough for me to get a couple of decent photos. I have a few other “bug photo” I got on the day, which hopefully will post soon. Cheers Dave

Bees and Pink Flowers

Another visit to Roma Street Parklands in Brisbane friday morning. I was a little dissapointed, no Water Dragons, No Water Lilies. But there is always something to capture this time Bees amongst the Pink Flowers Not a Bee, but you can see potential Death for a Bee, lurking below the flower here.   Cheers Dave
