Sunday, it is 4.30am and the alarm has just gone off, it is the middle of winter and it is cold, why am I up? Lake Moogerah – Black Swans
We detoured to Lake Moogerah on the way home last Monday, was raining, but still stopped to get a couple of quick photos of the Black Swans on the lake. Will have to come back in finer weather with a longer lens, to get some more “individual” shots of the beautiful birds. There was aContinue reading “Lake Moogerah – Black Swans”

Taken with 7D and eitherContinue reading “Toogoolawah Rodeo”

Gum Trees
Another from my visit to Mount Nebo on the weekend, this time some native Australian Gum Tree. Love the character of these trees, although they do have a habit of dropping limbs, not good if you are underneath. Taken with the 7D and various lenses. Cheers Dave
Goanna – a rather large lizard
Another from the Sunday BBQ at Mount Nebo ( only a 20minute drive from Brisbane), this fellow could smell our lunch, and came around looks for a free meal. About 2metres long, and he did scare a few small children around the park we were at. He stopped for a bit of Sunbaking LookingContinue reading “Goanna – a rather large lizard”
