Galah – Pink Cockatoo, although these birds are quite common, I am still struggling to get a photo, I am entirely happy with of this lovely pink coloured bird. This one also from the Jondaryn Woolshed from the weekend. Cheers Dave

Fishing in the Dam
I was out at Jondaryan Woolshed on the weekend, and while there spotted this White Heron, fishing in the Dam. Taken at a fair distance, so cropped a reasonable amount to get the above image, 7D with 70-200mm shot at F4. Cheers Dave

Kookaburras
The afternoon, before I got the Kingfisher photo, I was over at my Mum’s at Bribie Island, and there was a few Kookaburras hanging around,the people across the road feed them. A common bird on an exotic flower
A couple of weeks ago, I went out to Mount Cootha Botanical Gardens, and captured this Noisy Miner (Manorina melanocephala) , quite a common bird, but I think it contrast well with this tropical flower. What do you think? Cheers Dave

Blue Rutilia Fly – Rutilia (Neorutilia) simplex
